Frame Manufacturing
Southern Door and Hardware has the ability to manufacture custom hollow
metal door frames and borrow lites. Our shop is committed to short lead
times and outstanding customer service. Our fire-rated door frames and
borrowed lites are manufactured to comply with Underwriters' Laboratories
labeling procedures.
Southern Door and Hardware's CNC turret punch press and our custom manufacturing software give us the versatility only the larger frame manufacturers have. This, combined with pride and "know how", ensures your hollow metal frame order will be 100% accurate, on time, and complete.
Our standard frame material is prime painted, 16 gauge and 14 gauge A60 galvannealed sheet steel, which offers excellent corrosion and rust resistance along with excellent paint adhesion. We recommend this product for exterior as well as interior applications because of its durability and flexibility for exterior storage on the jobsite.
